Introducing the new Citroën C3 to the New Zealand market

Citroën pushed boundaries with the new C3 by creating a vehicle with custom design features never seen before. This prompted Citroën New Zealand to look for a unique way for people to engage with their brand and the C3.

We created the configurator with an emphasis on style, impact and ease of use. Wanting the user to experience true ownership of their vehicle, the configurator has the ability to customise the vehicle angle, body and roof colours, tyres, and interior finish. At the end of the journey the user then has the option to share their design, book a test drive, find a dealer and download a brochure.

Technology

Behind the design is the technology to ensure a smooth performance. This includes:

  • A rich HTML5-based front-end that enables users to build their own fully custom vehicle.
  • Ability to generate the customised vehicle configurations and input the images into a personalised PDF brochure that is downloaded by the user.
  • Custom admin area for back-end reporting and analytics.

Online Display Banners

To drive users to the configurator we produced Online Display Banners in line with Citroën’s brand guidelines. The banners provided potential consumers with the C3’s price point while also demonstrating visually the types of custom configurations that could be built.
