## Project Introduction

Castor Cars are independent vehicle valuers, working closely with insurers to assess vehicles for insurance purposes.

Their legacy on-premises system had served them for years, but it was showing its age. Limited in functionality, reliant on heavy manual input and only accessible from the desk, it was holding the business back.

They wanted a modern system that could match the way they actually work – faster, more flexible and built for the future.

## Challenges

For a business that operates on the move, being tied to a fixed location was an immediate problem. The system could only be used from the office or home, limiting flexibility.

On top of that, every valuation required pulling information from external sources and re-entering it by hand, making the process time-consuming and prone to errors.

With support running out and no future upgrades available, Castor Cars needed a solution that could replace it in full, and do more than the old one ever could.

## Solutions

We built a custom cloud-based platform that replicates the core functionality of their legacy system, while improving speed, usability and capability. The result is a platform that removes manual friction and is designed around how Castor Cars operate.

- Custom software tailored to valuation workflows
- Cloud-based infrastructure, enabling access from anywhere
- Integration with CarJam to automatically pull vehicle data from a rego entry
- Integration with Xero to automate invoicing and reconciliation
