Cruz Jimenez’s website is engaging and immersive, just like his art.
An artist’s website should be a masterpiece, and that’s what we aspired to achieve in Auckland-based painter Cruz Jimenez’ personal website. With Mona Lisa-inspired micro-interactions, a headline serif font and a custom integration with the Instagram API, we created a gallery-like digital experience to allow the art to take centre stage.
We wanted to take the viewer on a journey, introducing the artist on the home page and then inviting users into his private gallery.
